ABOUT US
In Memory-Scotland has been set up to give relatives and friends the opportunity to create a lasting memorial for their loved ones. There are of course other forms of memorial but they are not always accessible, a book of remembrance is usually only open on the anniversary of a death, a rose in a garden of remembrance can only be seen at it's best for a limited period of the year and a plaque on a wall or a gravestone like the rose can only be seen by visiting a location.
Your personal site at In Memory-Scotland is available twenty four hours a day three hundred and sixty five days a year and can be seen by relatives and friends all over the world at the click of a button. Those close to you can also leave comments and memories at any time, but only if you wish.
In Memory-Scotland offers three types of memorial. All contain some basic information, Full name, dates, place of residence City/Town/Village and names of surviving relatives. In addition each package offers the following.

Edward Gray Watson
1926-1994
Eddie was born in Garmouth on the 20th of June, 1925 to William and Annie. The family moved to Burghead in Morayshire when Eddie was still a toddler and they lived in the Coastguard Station, which is a landmark on the hill at the point of this seaside village. Eddie had two younger sisters, Nancy and Iris, and two older stepbrothers, Willie and Jim and a stepsister Sybil.
At the time Burghead was a prominent fishing village and, naturally, Eddie was drawn to the sea. On leaving school Eddie began working on the fishing boats until it was time for him to leave the village and complete his National Service in the Royal Navy.
Having decided he was not fit enough to make the move north, Eddie bought a house in The Green, Davidsons Mains, where he stayed until a stroke further hampered his health. Eddie spent his final years in the Royal Victoria Hospital until his death in 1994; he did, however, survive to see his first grandchild Emma born to Kenneth and wife Jane in the same year. |
