Trinity Tots is a small,independent nursery and crèche, established in 1995. We are located in a detached, single story building within a quiet cul-de-sac set back from the main road. We provide high quality care and education for children from 6 weeks - 5 years within a safe and welcoming environment. Our professional and experienced staff (most of whom have been with us for several years), form part of a motivated and enthusiastic team, dedicated to providing a wide range of learning opportunities essential to your child’s development. Everyone holds a relevant childcare qualification or is currently undergoing training for this. In addition, all staff regularly attend various courses to enable them to extend their knowledge and development.
   
The nursery unit is split into four bright and sunny playrooms all of which offer well equipped accommodation specifically tailored to each age group.
Our self contained crèche is for babies from six weeks to around one year depending on when the become confident walkers. It has its own adjacent garden to ensure that early walkers can practice safely. The crèche also has its own changing room and sleep room.
The nursery is divided into toddler (1-2 years) junior (2-3 years) and pre-school (3-5 years) rooms all of whom have access to our large, walled and enclosed garden, part of which has an all weather surface. The small number of children within each room allow us to generally offer a higher staff to child ratio than required and more individual attention to each child’s requirements.
   

 

 We were one of the first nurseries to be taken into partnership by the City of Edinburgh Council and are registered to provide grant assisted places for 3 - 5 year olds. Our visiting Early Years Specialist (Primary Teacher) from the education department ensures that our delivery of the curriculum is effective and up to date.
Our premises are in an ideal situation for local walks and visits including the Botanic Gardens, Newhaven Harbour, Ainslie Park Leisure Centre, swing parks and library. We also have more organised trips to the Theatre, Museum etc.
 
We are open all year, (apart from public holidays over the festive season) from am to 5.45pm. with full or part time sessions available. As a small, owner run nursery, backed by a very effective management team we can offer a high degree of personal service and flexibility.
We have achieved SINA Quality Assurance and Investors in people status.
Morning and afternoon snacks and a hot two course lunch are provided and included in our fees.
